Keeler D-KAT (Z-Type)

Reliability and Ease of Use

Discover the added reassurance of a digital Keeler Applanation Tonometer (D-KAT); a Goldmann tonometer which operates according to the ‘Goldmann method’, by measuring intraocular pressure from the force required to flatten (applanate) a constant area (3.06mm) of the cornea.

As a measurement device for tower illumination Z-style of slit lamp, the D-KAT (Z-Style) is equipped with an LED display and internal electronics to guarantee fast and accurate measurements.

Benefits

  • Reliable diagnosis to 1 decimal point
  • LED display – for ease of use in darkened environments

Description

THE GOLD STANDARD IN TONOMETRY

The Keeler Analogue KAT (Z-Type) Applanation Tonometer has been designed in collaboration with clinicians and handmade in the UK, adhering to the highest quality control standards. Operating according to the trusted Goldmann method, the ZKAT measures intraocular pressure from the force required to flatten a constant area (3.06 mm in diameter) of the cornea. As a versatile measurement device for Z-style lower illumination slit lamps, ZKAT can be mounted on and used with slit lamps produced by many manufacturers.
